Latest creations from the Hunter Valley

Last weekend was the hunter valley scrap girls retreat, we stayed at Wollombi barn stay and let me just say it was just fantastic...Loads of fun and laughs and wine and most of all alot of scrapping was done.
The wonderful Belle did all the cooking for us which was just divin and the wine tasting on Friday was fantastic also..
I managed to get 6 pages completed and a mirror and 3 cards...But we were given a challenge pack to create our own layouts and i was very happy that i won one of the prizes..woo hoo...So here are the latest creations i came up with on the weekend...

Gotta love a mum who can sew

A sewing afternoon with mum this afternoon was great since the DH is away in Batemans Bay for a fishing comp...I found this bag on the internet last night and asked her to help me make it because my sewing machine is broken...and let me tell you it was fun making them but she had to leave so she could go and feed dad...

Just when

I thought things couldn't get any better...i get a message from a friend asking me to be her hairdressesr...Now all i need to do is set up a salon somewhere...would love to do it at home but house just isn't big enough yet..im working on that one...

I knew i followed my dream of becoming a hairdresser for a reason...

A new post

It has now been well over 12 months since i have used this blog and i thought i better make good use of it again!!
Over the last 12 months alot has happened, i started my new job (well not so new now) in September last year and i am loving it, i am doing so much more that i have ever done, i have now started to build up my own clientle which is fantastic.

In march i had to go for an operation due to a cyst on the ovary..was a horrible experience and i hkope i don' thave to go back again for another one..


Lachlan (eldest son) broke his arm back in Mach also, he fell off his bike and broke his elbow..He is all mended now and is still scared to get on the bike.


In may i was invited to go on a Scrapbooking weekend with my mum over at Long Point (Mac Fields) with a group called Scrap Girls, needless to say i did go and i did have a fabulous time and have made alot of new friends through joining this group. I am also now a member of The Little Scrapbook Shop forum and let me just say all of the ladies on that forum are just a wonderful bunch of ladies..


We had the big birthday for Lachlan who turned 5 in July, the theme was a pirate party and all the kiddlets had a fantastic time..


I have completed my makeup services course which i started at the beginning of the year which i got 100% for everything in so i was stoked with that...Now a qualified make-up artist and almost qualified hairdresser only a year and a bit to go...


Heading off to the hunter valley next week with the Scrap Girls and mum...I managed to get the whole weekend off work including the friday...gotta love that!!
