latest creations for LSBS Seasoned Scrapper

Over at the little scrapbook shop they have challenges and they have called it The Seasoned Scrapper...and so far here is what i have created..

For the below challenge was Summer week 1.

Whe had to cover a journal so we can put all the challenges into for safe keeping!

For Summer Wk 2, we had to create a card box. As you can see i have made 2 of them because i wasn't happy with the first one so decided to make a second...happy with both of them for now.

just a few things

Firstly Lachlan is loving school even though he doesn't tell me what he has been doing in class. He has settled into before/after school care really well thankfully as this was one of my main concerns, but nothing to be worried about he loves it, infact he wanted to go there this afternoon and not have me pick him up from school...
Owen is also enjoying pre-school, he came home on his first day and told me not to ask what he had done at pre-school as it was a secret...The teachers did say that it will take them a little while to come around and start telling you about their day.
Darren starts his new job tomorrow, not to sure what he will be doing or what his job tile is as he has had that many jobs within telstra it is far to hard to keep up but he is excited to be leaving the team he is with at the moment.
Me, still loving my job over at Jannali. Have started losing weight again not that i had put on to much just 5kgs need to go. I need to be skinny for my sisters wedding next year....
Not to much more to report in today so that's it for me for the moment!!

An exciting but sad day

Today is Lachlan's first day of Kindy...I am happy and excited for him as this is a new journey in his life but i am also sad because he is still only little in my eyes...He was waiting at the front door for 10minutes before we had to leave with his bag very excited to be going to school.
We got down to school all happy together (well the 3 of us) and at 9.30am they started calling out the names of the children to go into their classes and when they called Lachlan's name i got very teary, he turned to me and said it's ok mum i am 5 and i will be fine! So off he went to his class room with his teacher Miss Pegler. I didn't get to speak to her but from what i saw she looks like a nice teacher. Thankfully he has gone into a class with a little friend Erin...

Now it is only an hour and a half and i can go and pick him up and find out all about his very first day of Kindy...
